It’s time to take a trip around the world and sample all of the strange foods that our species enjoys. Unfortunately, the world isn’t just full of those delectable breakfasts we treated you to a few weeks ago \u2013 if only. Consider this a public service and an education to save you from being shocked when you come across these, the world’s unusual foods.<\/p>\n

Chicken\u2019s Feet \u2013 East Asia, Caribbean, South America and South Africa<\/h2>\n

Given how many places it’s been eaten, it’s maybe unreasonable to call one of the unusual foods. Even then, since it’s mainly made of meat, it has a gelatinous feel. When properly flavoured, they’re very tasty, but the bones get on your nerves after a while.<\/p>\n

The heart, liver, and lungs of a sheep were minced and mixed with onions, oatmeal, suet, and salt and spices before being cooked inside the animal’s stomach. If that does not pique your interest, we are not sure what would.<\/p>\n

Tripe \u2013 All Over the World<\/h2>\n

The sponge-like honeycomb appearance of different animals’ stomach linings. It has a strange and unappealing rubbery texture that resembles some strange kind of sea plant life. Served with a variety of sauces to add flavour or simply with onions as a side dish.<\/p>\n

Khash \u2013 Middle East, East Europe and Turkey<\/h2>\n

A gruesome little dish made up of stewed cows feet and head. It was once a winter comfort food but is now considered a delicacy. We are sure it is fine, so long as you do not mind that grinning skull staring at you through its cold dead eyes.<\/p>\n

Fried Spider \u2013 Cambodia<\/h2>\n

Fried spider is a common regional delicacy in the Cambodian town of Skuon, and it’s made by marinating it in MSG, sugar, and salt before frying it in garlic.
